Notes Autumn 2020

Medical students, recent graduates and doctors tell us about their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic in this issue of the MDU’s student journal Notes.

What is it really like behind the mask?

"In the hospital, we wore masks all day, every day. With patients, in our ward offices and as we walked around the hospital." Molly Dineen joined the NHS as a FiY1 in the wake of the pandemic, like many of her fellow early graduates around the country.

She shares her experience of adapting to this new environment with us and what it’s like having to communicate with patients regularly through a mask.
