The resource, open to both MDU members and non-members, includes fictional scenarios that are based on common queries and concerns we receive from members. Topics covered include:
- marketing yourself and your practice effectively and ethically using social media
- patient confidentiality hazards associated with online media and how to avoid them
- maintaining professional boundaries with patients
- understanding when and how to respond to online criticism.
So far, feedback on the tool has been positive with participants commenting that it is, 'very helpful and informative' and 'really easy to use and very nicely presented.'
