Do I need to disclose a police caution to the GMC?

Yes. You are obliged to tell the GMC if you have received a police caution or been charged or convicted of a criminal offence (including traffic offences other than fixed penalty notices).

Call us immediately on 0800 716 646 if you're being investigated by the police about an allegation arising from your clinical practice. This is vital if you have been arrested and have been, or will be, interviewed under caution.
