When a single incident leads to multiple outcomes and investigations, it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel without the right support.
This was the fate of one GP member, who describes how it felt to be subjected to a complaint, claim, NHSE investigation and GMC investigation after the death of a patient - a process that took more than five years to resolve.
As he explains in the latest issue of the MDU journal, the experience took its toll - but he was grateful to have the MDU by his side every step of the way.
