This online learning module gives you a thorough overview of the general principles of good record-keeping in primary care, including:

  • the primary and secondary function of medical records
  • the risks that come from not keeping good medical records
  • the requirements for record-keeping
  • how to make effective entries in medical records
  • how to record challenging consultations in medical records.

Throughout the course, you'll be able to answer interactive questions and examine a range of different scenarios to help consolidate your learning. You don't have to complete the course in one sitting, and can save your progress and come back to it whenever's convenient for you.
